No community in Southwest Florida can match Lely Resort's 54 holes of championship golf, designed by some of the best in the game. Robert Trent Jones Sr., the world's most prolific golf architect, designed the Flamingo Island Golf Course. Golf Week has twice designated the course as one of "America's Best," while Golf Digest gives it four stars. The Mustang Golf Club Course reflects the character of its creator, PGA Senior Tour star Lee Trevino/Wm. Graves, a serious but fun par-72 course where one can recover from a bad shot but still find a challenge.
Both the Flamingo and Mustang courses are open to the public. The Classics at Lely Resort Golf & Country Club was designed by Gary Player, one of the game's only four grand slam winners. It combines the beauty of the surroundings with holes that are both friendly and challenging, the Classics is a private member only course.
Membership in the private Classics course allows members to play all three Lely Resort golf courses. Another benefit to Golf membership at Lely Resort Golf & Country Club is that Golf Membership is optional and not mandatory.
The Mustang course and the Lely Flamingo course are both open to the public.
